2020 Year In Review | 2020 Recap
Hey everyone! Happy New Year! I'd first off just like to thank you for reading today's blog! Today I'm going to be sharing my 2020 year in review with you. In a way, I'm recapping 2020. So let's just get to it.
2020 what a crazy year, am I right? 2020 was definitely an unexpected year. I think we all said when the new year started that it was going to be the best year yet and I mean that isn't wrong, but this year definitely was full of lots.
At the beginning of the year, I started off my last semester of college which was exciting. I also found a love for a brand new tv show called 911 Lone Star. It premiered in January & it quickly became my favorite. It also led to lots of things which I will get to in a bit. Nothing much was happening I was just getting through school and living life I suppose.
March hit and man did everything change. Mid March Covid 19 hit the states which as many of you know cause a huge lockdown nationwide. The pandemic was scary. Seeing what coronavirus could do was a little scary. March I came home from college and moved out of my college apartment. I did distance learning for my classes and it wasn't half bad. I was glad to be home with my dogs and be able to be close to my family. Distance learning wasn't all that bad because I ended the semester with a 3.7 GPA which I'm proud of. It was a tough spring semester and a lot of the time I felt like I was doing a 40 hour a week job with how much work it was.
The summer hit and restrictions lifted, but that also meant that concerts were canceled and this summer was going to be different than any other. It sucked because I graduated from college and I couldn't even go on a trip. I was supposed to see Thomas Rhett in concert which is something that I've been wanting to do for years! I still plan on doing that when it's safe and I know it will happen eventually.
Probably the worst bit of summer was loosing Skoda. He passed away June 27th and I miss him still so much.
On September 22nd I turned 25. This is a weird and crazy milestone for me. I'm a quarter of a century I guess. I also had a great birthday so maybe that was worth it. And even before that June to August, I took a summer class so I could finish my degree. I was super proud of myself because this was something I waited for the longest time. My diploma just got here a month ago just about too which was exciting and made everything more real.
October oh October!
Well In October something life-changing happened for me. I got to meet Ronen Rubinstein "TK STRAND" on 911 lone star and it was life-changing. I have a whole blog on it which I'll link
I also started to TIKTOK a lot during quarantine and I even started several lone star series which was fun and a great outlet for me. I started pitching ideas and it's been fun!
I also got a new job in mid to late October which wasn't my fav at first but it's tempary and I switched sides in the department and I'm thriving for now.
