My Sephora VIB Sale Recommendations! | Spring 2019!
Hey everyone I hope your doing well. Today I decided to talk all about my Sephora VIB sale recommendations. I first just want to say that I don't really shop at Sephora all that much anymore. I sort of put myself on a no buy since I don't have any money coming in at the moment. I won't be shopping this sale, but I did still want to talk about what I recommend getting. I'm going to be talking about the top of the top products. I will also be giving you my general tips of how to shop the sale in the best, cost effective way possible. Anyways let's get into it.
VIB Sale Recommendations!
Fist off I just want to give you some background info. If you didn't know the Sephora sale happens twice a year. It usually occurs in the mid fall usually close to the holiday's and then in spring around mid April to may like this year.
This year the sale starts for Rouge members on April 26th - May 6th with code HEYROUGE or you can also shop the sale in stores. Rouge members will save 20%.
For VIB's the sale starts from May 2nd to May 6th with the code HEYVIB or you can also shop the sale in stores as well. VIB members will save 15%.
Lastly, but not least for Beauty insiders the sale starts May 2nd to May 6th just like VIB's. You can use the code HEYBI or shop the sale in stores as well. Honestly the way you shop is endless. Beauty insider members will save 10%.
A few tips
There are so many products that you can pick up during the sale, but I thought it would be the most beneficial if I just gave a few of my best tips first.
1. One of my top tips would have to be to go through your loves list. If you didn't know Sephora allows you to add products to a "loves list" so that way you can find them later. Whenever I shop, especially when it comes to sales I always like to go through my loves list. This is also a good time to declutter your list and narrow it down to what you really want to purchase. I find going through your list will make it easiest for deciding what to buy this sale.
2. Prioritize the sale! Yep you heard me, I said prioritize this sale. What I mean by that is prioritize what you really want to buy compared to what you actually need. I think this is a great time to stock up on your go to products while you can get a discount.
3. Keep in mind those products that you normally wouldn't purchase. I know a lot of people like to save this sale time for more luxury products. I'm not one to buy luxury products, but I think if your into that this is the perfect time. I think even buying things that you wouldn't normally buy is perfect for this time of year. I mean if you can buy it my-swell if you can get it on sale.
My recommendations
1. First Aid Beauty Hello Fab Coconut Skin Smoothie Priming Moisturizer
This is my favorite moisturizer ever. I haven't used this one in a while, but seriously I love it. This moisturizer is super hydrating while still being lightweight. It also gives off this beautiful glow within. This product is one I can't live without and ya I need to pick another one up ASAP. It's also amazing because a little goes a long way.
There are so many eyeshadow palettes that I could recommend to you, but Sultry kicks all those other ones aside. When I received sultry a few months ago I was nervous about liking it because the colors just looked a lot different online. When I received it and finally tried it out I immediately fell in love. I love how cool toned this palette is. This palette is a good everyday palette for a Girl that loves her neutrals. This palette also gives you the perfect shades to create dramatic glam looks. It's one of my favs and I think if your going to pick anything up this sale it should be this.
Bite beauty has one of my favorite lipstick formula. I've included this picture from another beauty blog. I wanted to show multiple options. Personally I love their neutral lipsticks best, but I Love all their lipsticks. The formula of all of these lipsticks is amazing. They are super creamy and last a long time. Definitely worth trying especially since they have many different colors.
I love this moisturizer so much! It's intensely hydrates your skin. I've used this on all skin types and I love it. I use it at night especially, but sometimes I will use a little in the morning since I have normal to dry skin. A little bit of this product goes a long way. I prefer the huge bottle of it, but the tub is great too. If your looking for a good night moisturizer this is one for you.
There are so many highlights out on the market, but this sale I would for sure recommend picking up a Becca one. Becca makes the most beautiful highlights. They can be pricey, but I think they are definitely worth it. My favorites are Champegne pop and rose gold. These highlights are super glowy, beautiful, and they blend smoothly.
If your planning on getting any foundation during the sale you should instead get this cc cream. I love this cc cream from it cosmetics because it's full coverage while also being lightweight. I love this for the spring and summer especially because that's when I like to go lighter with my makeup. They now have several versions of this too from a cc illuminaton to the cc matte. So there is a cc cream for everyone. This is one you don't want to pass up.
The stilla glitters are 100% one of my top picks for the sale. I love these because they can amp up any look. I love these and I use them pretty frequently. They make any simple look into a glam look. They are also amazing from day to night. A plus about them is there is no need for glitter glue. My favorite colors are kitten karma, rose gold retro, sea siren.
This highlighter I got as a sample years ago. I don't currently own it, but I can honestly say it's one of my favorites. It's super creamy and blends so beautifully. It gives off the best glow. I love this one for everyday.
I love his mask. I think if your going to get any mask from the sale this is the one to get. It's good for all skin types. My favorite thing about it is that it acts like an exfoliator. you appy this just like a mask, let it sit for 10-20 minutes, then you wash it off, and you have freshly smooth skin. Plus it's a cute pink color what more could you need.
The last product I would recommend to buy are the amazonian clay blushes from Tarte. They are absolutely beautiful. I love how they blend on the skin. They are my favorite blush formula. My favorite color is "risqué". These are beautiful and you definitely need one of these in your collection.
