Top 5 Women that inspire me | #girlsboss #wcw yes please

Girl Boss Yes Please!
Hey everyone! I Hope your having a great Wednesday! Today I wanted to share some GIRL BOSS LOVE! There are so many women that inspire me. I think it's true that women are taking over the world in every aspect. I think it's freaking awesome too!

Growing up I also felt inspired by the women in my life whether that be my mom, grandmother, or teachers that I had growing up. Today I'm going to be talking about some awesome women online, and in tv that I look up to. I also just feel so much inspiration from these woman.

Top 5 Women That Inspire Me (in no real order!)

1. Keren Swanson (KKANDBABYJ)

Keren is a mom of 3 ( to the cutest kids might I add) and a complete  girl boss. You can find her on youtube on her daily vlogging channel  with her FiancĂ© Khoa & her 3 adorable kiddos  and also on her personal channel which is a more unfiltered channel which I love.
I've been watching Keren ever since Jackson ( her first child!) was a little baby. I don't personally have kids yet, but I just find Keren to be super relatable. She has recently been working on working out and embracing a more healthy lifestyle which actually has inspired me to be healthier. I can't really pin point how Keren inspires me, but I just love how real she is, and that is why I continue to support her.

2. Sophia Bush

I first saw Sophia on Chicago PD on nbc and then after that I went back, and I watched her on One Tree Hill. Besides her incredible acting. She is an activist. I love a lot of quotes from Sophia. My favorite quote of hers would definitely have to be "You're Allowed To Be Both A Masterpiece And A Work In Progress simultaneously"
I love how she speaks on mental health, and how she teaches girls that they are enough. That is something for the longest time that I just needed to hear. I've struggled with confidence for a long time, but within the last year I felt like I gained that. That's just one of many reasons why she inspires me on the daily.

3. Jaina Lee Ortiz

I first watched Jaina on Station 19 because I wanted to check it out in comparison to other fire shows that are on the air. My friend told me to watch another show she was in ( Rosewood). I watched it, and I'm pretty sure I finished the whole series in like a week. I love how she takes on these badass woman roles ( In both rosewood & station 19). I think it is really inspiring. I don't personally want to be a cop or firefighter, but for other girls to see I love that we have that on tv. I love how these "man jobs" are being shown as women more and more. It really shows how women are taking over. She just radiates, and I don't know I just love her. I just think she is one badass inspiration woman! I don't know what more to say.

4. Meren Morris

MEREN AKA MY QUEEEN! No seriously guys I love Meren! Her music really speaks to me. I've listened to her latest album "GIRL" constantly this past week. If my music is on this is what I'm listening too. I just feel like Meren inspires so much girl power. She really does empower woman which is something I really believe in. Is here really anymore to say.
It is also a goal for me to see Meren in Concert. Next time she comes to NY I'm seeing her. I promise that, and not just to myself. I have to put that out there. So friends someone drag me to her concert. Actually you don't have to drag me I will be there in half a second just call me. ok cool.

5. Selena Gomez

Selena! Oh Selena! I first would like to say that I feel like Selena was the first woman role model (besides of course my mother!) that I had growing up. I watched I want to say my whole childhood. From Barney to Wizards and waverly place. I was all about Selena. My first concert ( or what I consider my first real concert!) was Selena when I was almost 16. I remember being in the nosebleeds in the stadium concert, but for me I was just so mesmerized in that moment. I felt so close to her even though I was so far away. That concert felt so empowering in my life. I love everything Selena speaks on, and even to this day as a 23 year old women. Selena Inspires me. My favorite song of her's was always "who says" even to this day that song still speaks to me. That was how I feel I started to be my real true self. So thanks Selena!

Women are awesome! That's really all I can say after that. I hope you guys enjoyed this blog. This is something I really wanted to do for a while. I feel like there are so many more women that inspire me so if you would like a part 2 then let me know in a comment. Follow me on my socials the link to them is at the very bottom of my blog.

Happy #WCW Keep being you!

XOXO -Katie
