My Current Favorites! | Druing the spring semester! | Katiexobeauty
Hey everyone Happy Wednesday!
Today I'm finally sharing my current favorites with you. This is something I have been wanting to do for a while. I have been loving this stuff for the whole year so far basically. This is mainly my favorites from February to May. Haha so basically during my spring semester.
I have favorites from beauty to even TV so let's get to it!
I love this lip balm. Not only is it very hydrating, but it also gives off the most natural tint. I love this for every day for class. This was actually the only makeup I would wear. I would put a little bit of this on my lips and then blend it out with my fingers to give off an effortless my lips, but better color.
This highlight is drop-dead gorgeous! It is also unfortunately unavailable at this time. I was able to snag this the second time around when they relaunched it. This is the perfect light gold color. I decided to still mention this because it was my go-to gold color for the whole semester. Whenever I went out this is what I wore.
This is probably the best sponge that I have ever used. I decided to include a side by side of the before and after wetting it to show the difference. This is the largest sponge I probably have ever used. I love it because it really applies my foundation smoothly. There's not much to say about this sponge, but just now that I love it!
This is my favorite night moisturizer. It is probably the most hydrating one I have ever used. It really treats any dry skin I have which always happens in the winter and springtime. I also get the largest size because I know it will last a very long time. If you haven't tried this yet then you need to.
I love this oil it is extremely hydrating. I originally started using this to help out my acne scars. It hydrates my face. This is my favorite part of my nighttime routine. I also started using it with a facial roller, but that is something I am still even months later testing out.
I love this oil! I've always loved lavender and not just because I love the color purple. I love the smell of this oil. I love defusing it, but my favorite thing to do with it during this time was actually putting a little bit on my pillow before I went to bed. This really helped me fall asleep faster and have a better sleep. Which being a college student was needed. You can also use this oil on your skin for hydration, but I hardly did that.
If you didn't know, I'm kinda a TV addict. I love my tv and I had several shows that I watched.
New Amsterdam
New Amsterdam is a medical based show. It is based around Dr.Max Godwin who is also the new medical director at New Amsterdam. He comes in to shake things up, but the staff is surprised to find that he really is trying to change the medical system for the better by giving them whatever they need. This show really exposes the real life of the medical world. They really expose what is wrong with the medical system. And on top of that Max has another medical mystery of this own.
It's a must-watch! it's available to watch on the NBC app and on Hulu
This Is Us
This Is Us is the perfect show that will make you laugh, cry, and smile all within sixty seconds. The series follows the lives and families of two parents, and their three children, in several different time frames. I started watching this show right when it aired because the preview really caught my eye just like other millions of Americans. This show really is groundbreaking and I'm not sure how they do it, but it is so good. This show as well can be watched on the NBC app or on Hulu.
Good Trouble
If you watched the fosters then you may be familiar with good trouble. Good trouble is a spin-off of the fosters. It focuses around Mariana and Callie; two sisters of the fosters clan who are making the big move to LA post college to venture into their new careers. Mariana is diving into the world of coding and Callie is venturing to become a lawyer and make a true difference in the world. This show is edgy and daring which is what I love about it. It's not that ABC family show that was once a thing. They go a few steps further. I find the show very relatable. They expose really topics. We also get to meet so many different characters at the coterie! You can watch this on the freeform app.
Station 19
Station 19's slogan is "A group of heroic Seattle firefighters risk their lives and hearts both in the line of duty and off the clock." I feel like that describes the show so well. This is a greys anatomy spin-off, but don't let that sway you. This show is so much better than greys. Don't get me wrong I love greys, but this show really is sooo good. It follows all these Seattle firefighters that have a million layers. It is also different from all the other fire shows which I love. They also show the side of the Seattle PD which I love. season 2 has to be my favorite by the way. You can also watch it on the ABC app or Hulu.
Blood Bloods
Blue Bloods is just how it sounds. It is a show all about a family who is all in the police business. From the grandfather to father, to the brothers, and sister they are a law type of family. It shows their police work, but also how they end the week with their Sunday dinners. This show is so funny but also has that action-packed quality that you crave. I actually used to think it was boring years ago, but this past fall I decided to give it a chance and ended up loving it. I binged it in just a few short months. It's a good one and can be watched both on Netflix and Hulu!

This is my favorite lip scrub. I have tried several and this one has to be the best. It might seem pricey to get one that is $10, but I promise you a little goes a long way. I've had this for a few years now and I've hardly put a huge dent into it. You need just the littlest dab of this. I love this all the time, but it especially good for winter because of how good it exfoliates my lips without being severely abrasive.
Rhada beauty Rosehip Oil (price varies!)
