Birthday Interview with my mom! | Katiexobeauty + more
Hey everyone! Welcome to day 7! Also happy birthday to me!!!!! I'm writing this a week before my actual birthday so as of right now this day doesn't seem real, but when you are reading this I will be officially 24! That's weird to even type out. So today I decided that I wanted to do a birthday interview with my mom. I thought this would be fun to ask her almost "mom tag" related questions. I want to say a few things before we start though. I am the first born to my parents and I was a surprise gender baby. It's funny because before I was born everyone, but my aunt (who's a nurse) thought I was a boy. I find facts like that very funny. Anyways let's get into it.
1. Do you remember how you felt when you found out you were pregnant with me?
Mom: Yes, I was happy! My periods were kind of all over the place before that and there was a couple times I thought I might be pregnant but then I wasn't. So when they told me I was pregnant for you I was very excited.
2. Did you have intuition if I was a boy or girl? Did you ever dream of me before I was born?
Mom: I sort of had a feeling you were a girl. But a lot of people thought I was having a boy so I didn't say much about my feeling. I just wanted you to be healthy. I had a dream you were a girl, but I can't really remember the details of when you were born.
3. Describe me in 3 words?
mom: Nuturing, honest, kind, smart! (oops that's 4 words!)
4. favorite memory from when I was little?
Mom:The first time I heard you laugh....it was so cute I called Grannie up to tell her and made you laugh so she could hear it. First words, cute things you said. How cute you were when you started school
5. What was a moment when you were really proud of me?
Mom: When you won that contest in middle school and read your paper in front of the whole grade. When you went to college. Dad and I thought you would never end up living on campus.
6. what is a memory you would like to create together?
mom: going to NYC (in just about a month!)
7. describe our relationship?
mom: I think we are close. Sometimes very different. Sometimes so similar that we drive each other crazy
8. Is there anything else you want to teach me?
Mom: Yes! Cooking, knitting!
9. Where do you see me in 5 years?
mom: In five years I think you will be working in a career you love, living independently, and who knows...
10. Speaking of.... what kind of guy would you like your daughter to marry?
Mom: A nice guy with good values who treats you well.
Well there we have! That's an interview with my mom. I hope you guys enjoyed this. Be sure to subscribe to my blog and follow me all over my socials! See you tomorrow for my birthday recap!
