Why I Love My Birthday! |Katiexobeauty
Hey everyone! So Welcome to day 3 of my birthday week blog special! Today I'm going to be talking about why I love my birthday. Now I have to point out this isn't all about my love of everything being all about me because let me tell you it's never ben like that. I also don't want to be like that at all. My brother and I are born 3 years and 3 days apart so I've always has to share the spotlight, but like I don't care. Anyways let's get into it.
1. No matter how old I get it's still special.
I know this sounds maybe sorta cheesy, but it truly is my special day. I've always loved my birthday. I loved everything that came with it especially growing up. Now being i'm turning 24 in just days it's not as special. It is still special because that's how I make it, but It's nothing like a horse and pony show. It's special because I get to do all the things I love. I get to spend time with family. It's special mostly because i've made a tradition out of it.
2. I love all the free perks that comes with my special day
From the sephora birthday gift to extra points at ulta! This has to be one of my favorite things. It's always fun getting all these perks. I love it! I mean who doesn't love free stuff on their birthday
3. I love the food!
I love food okay! My favorite thing growing up and even to this day was picking out the birthday meal and the cake. This time of year I always request my favorite chicken parm! Might I add that my mom makes the best chicken parm. Also my local grocery store has the best double chocolate cake which is my favorite!
4. The new season!
My favorite thing of all time is that about 99% of the time My birthday falls on fall (no pun intended!)It's actually funny because when I was born, I was born on the last day of summer. This year I'm the day last summer birthday as well. I like to call myself an in between birthday girl. I always thought this was cool because it's kinda a surprise every year with what season my birthday may land on. About that though I love that my birthday lands on fall though because it's my favorite season. I love the coolish weather, wearing sweaters, drinking salted hot coco, caramel apples, and maybe wearing flannels. Hello Fall!
5. I love the messages and cards!
I love the simple things like messages and birthday cards. I never expect anything, but the fact that friends and family will take the time to show me love always make me happy. I love that I have so many amazing people around me to spread the love. I am grateful for all of them everyday of my life.
